Our Church here fills many different roles. The Church building is a place for people to gather together and worship
Him, and to be together in His presence. The building serves too, as a place where the good news of Jesus
Christ is poured out from, the place where the grace of God for our community of Burnfoot is carried out by those who come
to worship. It serves also as a place of refuge and safety for the wearied and worried, for the lost and
alone, for the broken, bereaved and abandoned. It is a place of healing, and restoration. A place where those who are mature
in faith and those whose faith is intermittent, can come and be filled by God, and enabled to go and live.
The Church, however, is not just the building.
The Church is the people of faith who worship,
who bring the good news and grace of God out (of that building) into the community of Burnfoot. It is the Church - the people, who share refuge and safety to the lost,
the lonely, the broken, bereaved and abandoned. And it is alongside the people of the Church that God brings His healing and
restoration to any who need it. This is the great thing for us who know God - to know that those whose faith is small
or shaky can come and taste and see that God is good.
Let us invite you to come and see.
